15 Months Old

Our big 15 month old sure has been enjoying the summer months.  We have been enjoying our new backyard, we joined a pool nearby, and the park, of course.  It's been so nice just to be outdoors and have so much to play.   At 15 Months Cooper
Length:  32.5 inches (80th percentile)
Weight:  25 lbs  (80th percentile)
Head:  47.5 cm (60th percentile)
Coop transitioned from his hypoallergenic formula to regular Whole Milk gradually after he turned one!  We are enjoying the weekly deduction from our grocery bill!  He still wants his milk in a bottle, so that's our next transition to make.  He will take other drinks in a sippy cup, but wants mama to hold him with a bottle for milk!  I don't mind!  :)  He eats pretty much whatever we can eat and loves most foods.  He says quite a few words and does a lot of pointing and making noises.

A Nautical Party

Saturday the 30th we had Cooper's First Party! We chose a nautical theme since he loves water and his birthday kicks off the summer months ahead. This also was the first time most of our family had seen our new house!  Cooper loved having all his favorite people around to give him attention and play.  It was a great day celebrating our favorite little guy.

Cooper loved his cake after a few skeptical bites!  He actually shivered after a sugar filled bite of icing!  We paid the price for all that sugar when he was wide awake in the middle of the night!

Cooper's FIRST Birthday!

Our sweet boy turned ONE on May 27, 2015 and it's so crazy to think how much has changed in a year.  I remember so vividly back on the night after he was born how giddy with excitement I was... I couldn't sleep and just wanted to look at him and hold him and take in every single detail possible.  It was such a special day for me and Scott, and now a year later, I look at birthdays with a new perspective.  The day that my life changed forever and I learned to love someone else more than anything in this world.  We love you, Cooper Alexander, and wouldn't change the last year for anything.  You are a sweet, happy, loving and full of personality little boy.  I can't wait to see what the next year brings!
We were no longer tolerant of sitting pretty for a pic!  Good thing this is the last one!

Coop's One Year Stats (this was a framed poster at this party)
At 12 months Cooper: Weighs: 23lbs (80th percentile)  Length:  30 3/4 inches (80th percentile) and Head:  46 cm (50% percentile), and has 8 teeth!

the birthday boy :)
His actual birthday was on a Wednesday, so I asked Scott to take off work so we could have a little family day to honor our boy.  The celebration started as soon as he woke up and we had balloons waiting for him outside his bedroom.  He has quickly fallen in love balloons!

We decided to head off to the Louisville Zoo for a fun day trip.  His grandparents stopped by at the end to wish him a happy birthday!  The polar bears were his fave on this trip.  AND the Oreo dippin dots for a little bday treat :)

A long day, but so much fun.  Such a special day for our whole family.
