Cooper turned 7 months right after his first Christmas! It was a big month celebrating the holidays and enjoying all the festivities. Cooper continues to bring so much happiness to our lives and I swear there is nothing better than getting him to flash that smile...it really lights up the whole room (and our hearts). Things that bring a smile to his face this month are:
anything his dad does is funny somehow, he loves his daddy!
playing airplane with mommy,
Wilson joining me to get him from his crib is apparently the funniest thing ever
also, grabbing Wilson's face/ears or attempting to ride on his back
peek a boo,
clapping,
eating food in his high chair,
attempting to crawl (ok he actually gets frustrated with this too, but he's soooo close!)
we got to move to the seat in the shopping cart and he loves that now! and my back loves not carrying him in the baby carrier anymore
daddy putting him on his sholders
playing with a cell phone or remote control is a daily (minutely) battle
he doesn't sit still for long now!
It's so fun to watch him learn and grow. These months go by fast and it's amazing how much he changes by the end of it.
at 7 Months Cooper is wearing size 9-12 clothes/pajamas
size 3 Diapers
eats 5 bottles a day and has 2 "meals"/day with puree foods
bedtime at 6:30pm and sleeps til about 7am with one night feeding around 4am
naps 3x/day around 9am, noon, 3pm (catnap) lasting 30min-2 hours. usually morning nap is best nap
and consistently at least 1 hr. he really likes to take 1hr 15 min naps.
has 2 teeth (front bottom)
sits up and keeps his balance unassisted
gets up on all fours and tries to crawl (rocks back and forth), but still hasn't mastered it.
he gets very frustrated and ends up sitting down instead of moving forward
trying so hard to crawl
Cooper took this "selfie" of him and Wilson haha
Goodbye, Mamaroo! I think once you can sit up and try to escape you've outgrown this :( Hard to believei love this photo! my 3 boys! fun before bath
Coop sitting in his stroller big boy style! (no car seat for the first time) Scott actually took this while I was having a mommy vacation in Louisville
Big boys who can sit up get to ride in the shopping cart!
was a little confused at first
then was having a blast!
this was an adventure with daddy
hard to see, but this boy likes to sleep with his toosh in the air (adorable)...and have I mentioned he is loving his crib these days. It's sprinkled with his loveys which he also still loves.
we had to go to the doctor to check out our excema and rosy cheeks, but it didn't stop him from smiling
we rode in the car to the office in our zippy to keep warm :)
putting some xmas gifts to use, the new highchair (thanks Nannie) and rubber ducky (thanks Sir)
play time with Daddy is sooooo fun
i love morning snuggles with Mommy, too!working on Cooper's Nursery
I think we are ready for month eight! You never know what each month will bring and we love every second of it.
