9 months

These months are coming quicker and quicker!  Sweet girl is 9 months old and on the move! After a couple weeks of her getting stuck and frustrated trying to crawl she finally mastered it!  Scott sent me a video of her while I was shopping so that was fun that he got to be the one who witnessed it first!  And once she took off there was no turning back!  She's exploring all over the place.   We went to Dr Nick this month for a well check and got to see how Charlotte is growing!

At 9 months old she:
weighs 18lbs 15oz (50th percentile)
length 26.75" (25th percentile)
head circ 44.5cm (70th percentile)

This little angel is not only healthy but sleeping through the night!  (of course, her brother decided to get up multiple times a night instead hahah maybe one day we will have both of them asleep at night!) She has been saying the mama sound and I can't remember if I mentioned that last month.  Mama was her first word, but this month she really says it alot.  She also now says Dada.  Speaking of Dada, this girl is totally a daddy's girl!  She lights up when he walks in from work kicking her legs, sticking her tongue out and jumping up and down in my arms.  She smiles from ear to ear when comes to get her.  It really is sweet, and she does not have that reaction to me or other people.  Well she does to Cooper.  So Cooper and Dada,  her two guys! She is pulling up on furniture up to her knees but still isn't so sure about standing.  Lastly, I went out of town and left my little family for the first time this month!  Daddy watched the kiddos and did great and Charlotte seems to survive! :) I had a great time but missed my crew a ton.  Glad to be home and back to the grind.  I wouldn't want it any other way and I am truly lucky to be able to be home with Cooper and Charlotte during these precious years.  Happy 9 months to our sweet baby girl.

Baby Charlotte is 8 Months Old!

Oh baby Charlotte!  Acting more and more like a toddler each day!  (sad face!) This month she got her top two front teeth in making her little smile look so teethy! She now has 4 total teeth.  I have to say she handles teething like a champ.  We barely notice a difference then all of  sudden we see a new tooth has popped in.  She is soooo close to learning to crawl!  She does the cutest little worm like motion but isn't getting anywhere yet.  It's coming soon!  She gets a little frustrated and sticks her legs and arms up in the air on her belly and cries when she is stuck haha.  Her biggest change this month has been with eating.  She has mastered the pincer grasp and started trying to eat stuff like puffs.  She LOVES feeding herself.  She especially likes avocado.  She is definitely on a schedule with 2 naps only a day.  She hasn't taken a third cat nap in what seems like forever so its officially gone.  Her naps are great.  They average 1 hour-3 hours but usually no longer than 2.5 hours.  Can she teach her brother how to do this??!  Her bedtime is around 7 and she wakes up once around 5 am to eat then back to sleep for 2-3 hours!  We have to wake her up alot actually especially on preschool mornings.  But she's always happy and so flexible.  She is literally the calmest baby ever.  At 8 months old: She wears size 3 diapers, size 6-9 month clothes.  Loves her brother, petting Wilson, putting EVERYTHING in her mouth, playing in the tupperware cabinet while mommy cooks, sleeping on her side or belly with zippy and paci, smiles big when daddy comes home from work.  Oh and she had her first bath out of the baby one.  It was with big brother, things got a little crazy and I decided maybe I would wait to do that again!  haha We can't imagine life without this sweet baby girl.  Side note: I think as life has gotten busier and my phone memory is filling up I didn't take enough pics this month :(  Will do better next month!
